Final 2008 Presidential Debate Drinking Game

This is it. The final presidential debate of the 2008 election. Perhaps the last time John McCain and Barack Obama will ever be on the same stage together to not shake hands or look at each other. Are you ready? Not unless you've downloaded the Final Presidential Debate Drinking Game.

The rules have been updated from the first three debates, and this one promises even more fun. We've added "95%" and other fun words to the list, and there's more fun for when to take a shot and when to finish your drink. And most importantly, we've downgraded "my friends" from a shot to a sip after giving about half of you liver failure from the last debate. :)

Presidential Debate #2 Drinking Game

Are you ready for tonight's debate between Barack Obama and John McCain? Not unless you've downloaded the Presidential Debate #2 Drinking Game.

The rules have been completely updated from the first two debates, and this one promises even more fun. We've finally added "fundamental" to the words you'll need to take a sip for, and there's more fun for when to take a shot and when to finish your drink. We've added sections for the candidates, so it's a little easier to follow along, even when your reading comprehension is starting to go.

Vice Presidential Debate Drinking Game

Are you ready for tomorrow night's debate between Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and Deleware Senator Joe Biden? Not unless you've downloaded the Vice Presidential Debate Drinking Game.

We've learned from last week's Presidential Debate, and added even more sipping, shots, and chugging to this version of the game. Let's face it: 2 hours of that accent, and you're going to need some extra brain numbing. With added rules like "Drink when Joe Biden mentions Amtrak," "Drink when anyone can see Russia from their front porch," and "do a shot when Sarah Palin speaks in tongues," you'll be all set for 2 hours of prime time debating for those seeking the one job with virtually no responsibility.

Debate Drink's first official party, hosted at my DC apartment, was quite the success. We had over 30 people watching the debate, with lots of opportunities for sipping, chugging, and throwing things at the TV. Even Nargiz, who was from the Russian newspaper echomsk.ru seemed to have a great time, and she wrote a great blog entry about the party. (Read the article, translated by Babelfish.) It's a good thing I grabbed a bottle of "Russian Standard" vodka at the liquor store before the party!

If you have a drink of choice for your party, send me an email and let me know what it is. I'll collect some of the best responses for an entry before the next Presidential debate.
